These young people were welcomed to Benidorm last night during the opening of the Lions Costa Blanca Camp that was held in the Town Hall Assembly Hall and in which, among others, the Councilor for Social Welfare, Ángela Llorca; the governor of the 116th district of Spain, Joan Jesús Torres; the president of the Benidorm Lions Club, Juan José Galiana; the president of the Lions Costa Blanca Camp 2022, José Luis López; and the entity's exchange adviser, Gemma Rodríguez, participated.
These 18 young people were invited to enjoy, learn, get to know you, get to know each other and live together during the Lions Costa Blanca Camp that they have ahead of them; At the same time, it was highlighted that eight young people from Benidorm also act as ambassadors of our city in the world these days by participating in similar events organized by the Lions Club in other parts of the planet.
The Lions Costa Blanca Camp participants expressed the wish that when they return to their respective countries of origin they can say that you have your home in Benidorm.
For his part, the governor of district 116 stressed that the participants of the Camp are "at an age with a great capacity for learning", and summoned them to live "this unique experience" that allows "you to come into contact with other people".
The Lions Costa Blanca Camp will run until August 14. During this time, the participants will carry out sports, cultural and social activities, as well as excursions to different parts of the province.
In this edition, there are young representatives from Germany, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Norway, Italy, Estonia, United States, France, Austria, Brazil, India and Turkey.
