Artisans and artists protagonize a new edition of 'Les Nits del Castell' of Benidorm

Benidorm will inaugurate on July 1 a new edition of 'Les Nits del Castell', the traditional sample of artisans and artists that every year, during the summer, with their stands dynamizes the area of the Old Town. A new edition of the exhibition of traditional art and trade has been presented, which this year changed its traditional location in El Castell due to the work of recovering the archaeological remains that began a few days ago. It has been immersed in the excavation works of the Castle, so the activity of the painters will take place in the Plaza de Castelar and artisans will move to the Plaça de la Senyoria.

The relocation in the surroundings close to the Castle will not prevent us from highlighting, even more if possible, the area. There will be 14 painters, 3 braid artists and 18 craftsmen who will participate in this edition of 'Les Nits'.

Free workshops will be held so that interested people can learn how craftsmen develop their work. This activity will take place every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in July, except the 30th and 31st. The scheduled workshops are: thread and leather, soaps, chapas for children, ornaments, rice grains, silver, turtles, marine crystals, shells, skin and steel, wire crafts, workshop for children, juggling and stones, polymeric clay and ceramics.

All the artisans who come to work and show their professionalism in 'Les Nits del Castell' are fully accredited and qualified, and come from towns in the Marina Baixa, the province and other autonomous communities.
